Every Artouflage story starts with a conversation. We talk about life, places, memories, what the work should express.
Then comes the silence. From that moment on, the client doesn’t see or hear anything until the painting is finished.
It’s a mix of trust, curiosity and suspense , like waiting for a photo to develop.
From that first talk, I start to live inside their story.
I notice things that connect to it, colours, words, even moments from a song or something I read. They all become part of the process, invisible threads that guide what will later appear on canvas.
The most recent project turned into something special. When the painting was finally revealed, the client decided not to share photos with friends who kept asking. Instead, she’s organising a small “painting reveal party” so they can experience it in person.
That probably says more than any review could.
It reminded me why I started Artouflage in the first place. These paintings aren’t just meant to fill a wall. They hold pieces of someone’s story, sometimes quiet, sometimes bold but always personal.
There’s something beautiful about keeping art a little private.
Some works ask for time, space and presence.
No photos. Just a story hidden in paint.
